Full time, to start September 2024

Do you want to be part of a school, where we showcase our students’ sporting talents within our superb PE facilities?

If so, find out more about our school and Trust and how you can make a real difference to young people and be part of a thriving faculty. We are seeking an Assistant Leader of Sport and Leisure to work in our PE department.

Our students are taught in purpose-built sports facilities; our 6 lane swimming pool, floodlit all weather pitch, dance studio, 4 court sports hall and well equipped gym means our provision is second to none.  We are able to offer students a diverse curriculum and many extra-curricular activities, clubs and varied sporting events, so that our students have maximum opportunity to be fit and healthy, achieve their ultimate best and enjoy sport through recreational and competitive environments.  A house system was also introduced in September 2021.  The House system's aim is to foster a sense of belonging, encourage participation and celebration and develop student leadership. The Sport and Leisure faculty play a large role in the House system running a wide range of large scale, in house, sporting competitions which will continue to grow over the coming years.

You will be able to demonstrate commitment and understanding in order that every student gets the personal support and challenge they need to progress and reach their full potential.  We are dedicated to delivering a learning experience to all students which is stimulating and enjoyable, priding ourselves on being the kind of place people want to work where everyone recognises the buzz of excitement and togetherness, whatever stage they are at in their career.  We invest in ensuring the quality of our relationships, fostering and building strong teams to share good and innovative practice, to promote learners’ achievements.

We will play to your strengths and can offer you:

A range of benefits which include cycle to work, free parking, an employee discount scheme, a laptop/iPad.

A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and recognition.

Annual Learning & Teaching Conference for all Teaching Staff.

Caludon Castle has a great deal to be proud of, with a relentless focus on excellence and a desire to continuously improve. If you have the passion and determination to be valued part of our team, we would love to hear from you.
