Midday Supervisor – Grade 1, Point 2

Salary: £3,162.48 (pro rata to hours and weeks worked))

Monday to Friday, 11:20am to 12:50pm, (7.5 hours per week, term time only)

Flexibility required with daily hours of work between 11.30am and 1.30pm

We are seeking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our hard-working support staff team at Charter Academy Primary School. The Midday Supervisor team play an important role within our school, ensuring that our pupils experience an enjoyable and safe lunchtime.

Duties and responsibilities of the role will include: -

• Looking after a specific group of children and an area of the dining hall/playground each day (although this group/area will vary)

• Escorting children to and from the dining room

• Supervising children inside and outside during the lunchtime

• Monitoring pupil behaviour, intervening as necessary in accordance with school policies including behaviour, safeguarding, health and safety and first aid

• Creating play opportunities for children.

We are looking for someone who: -

Has experience of working with children across the primary age range

Has the ability to relate well to children and adults

Is a team player with a good sense of humour and a positive attitude

Is energetic, caring and flexible
