Pastoral Administration Assistant

Kingsbury School

Permanent, Full time, required as soon as possible

Grade E: £20,302 – £20,641 pa pro rata (£23,500 - £23,983 pa FTE). Term time only plus 5 teacher training days (39 weeks). 37 hours a week. 8.15am to 4.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.15am to 3.45pm on a Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.

This is an exciting new role at Kingsbury School. We are looking for an excellent administrator to be the key point of contact for the pastoral team. You will be supporting our pastoral hub by managing diaries, liaising with parents/carers, facilitating meetings, producing letters, working with external agencies, and providing all round administrative support.

This is a wonderful opportunity to gain some really valuable experience in a forward-thinking environment and to put your strong administrative skills to the test, working closely with a range of stakeholders in a very professional, supportive and friendly environment.

We will be looking for excellent communication, IT and organisational skills, a proactive, professional, flexible, ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to prioritise and make sound decisions. You will be able to quickly establish credibility with a range of stakeholders. Equally important is the will to offer an outstanding customer service to all students and parents/carers, whatever their needs, and everyone who visits our school. We pride ourselves in our welcoming approach.

You will be joining Kingsbury School at an exciting time, as we are part of Castle Phoenix Trust and are very proud of our recent achievement to secure a good Ofsted outcome. Being part of a Multi Academy Trust means we can further develop our strategies to continue to invest in and develop our staff and, most importantly, bring about the best possible outcomes for our students who deserve the very best.

This fulfilling role will provide a wealth of developmental opportunities and the opportunity to make this role ‘your own’. Every day will be different and we will play to your strengths. We have a strong commitment to staff wellbeing and recognition through our wellbeing committee and people strategy, and offer a range of benefits which include the local government pension scheme, cycle to work, discounted gym membership, free parking and an employee discount scheme.

If you have the passion and determination to be valued part of our team, that has a desire to continuously improve, we would love to hear from you.

We can offer:-

• Hard working colleagues and well-trained support staff who are passionate about what they do

• A supportive and committed administrative team to work alongside

• A supportive Trust and local governing body who are committed to helping the school move forwards

• A pledge to grow your talent through professional development and collaboration opportunities within our Trust and beyond.

• A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and recognition, through the Trust people strategy, and a range of benefits which include the local government pension scheme, term time only working, cycle to work scheme, discounted gym membership and an employee discount scheme
