For September 2025, we are seeking to appoint a committed, inspirational and dynamic teacher for this key post within our Welsh Baccalaureate Skills, H&WB and Public Services teams. We require a professional who has breadth of vision, creativity, energy and motivation to contribute to these thriving departments at Coleg Cymunedol Y Dderwen. The post offers the opportunity for the successful candidate to develop innovative practice in teaching and learning, further develop the curriculum and meet the challenge of raising learner performance. In particular, we seek to appoint a teacher who will relish the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals and inspire learners to achieve their potential. With the launch of the new 14-16 qualifications in the Curriculum for Wales this is a very exciting opportunity to develop skills based and vocational subjects along with our dedicated staff teams here at CCYD. A versatile staff member will be provided with ample opportunities to develop professionally, and you will be fully supported by excellent and dedicated practitioners. The post is available from 1st September 2025 however, we would be willing to delay the start date to suit the successful candidate.
