Temporary Welsh and Drama Teacher
(Covering a Maternity Leave)
Cefn Saeson School is a very successful learning community serving Cimla, Tonna and central Neath.
Applications are invited from both NQTs and experienced teachers for the above post from 1st January 2027 up to 31st July 2027, or the return to work of the Teacher.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive school in continuing to drive outstanding outcomes for all our students. We are looking for a suitably qualified temporary Welsh and Drama teacher to teach across the Key Stages including GCSE.
The successful candidate will be required to deliver and plan for high-quality learning and teaching within the Welsh and Drama departments across all ages and abilities. Applicants will be committed to enhancing pupils’ experiences using a variety of teaching and learning styles and will be expected to contribute not only to the departments but also to the school as a whole. Knowledge of the new curriculum will be required as a necessity.
You will have an interest and expertise in the use of ICT as an aid to teaching and learning, and a commitment to enhancing pupil experiences beyond the classroom. This would then complement the skills and expertise of the existing team.
This post will provide an excellent opportunity for practitioners to develop their experience in a dynamic environment, committed to the professional development of all staff.
