Cefn Saeson School is a very successful learning community serving Cimla, Tonna and central Neath.
Applications are invited from both NQTs and experienced teachers for the above post from 8th January 2024 up to 19th July 2024 or the return to work of the member of staff.
We wish to appoint a highly effective teacher to join our successful PE department. The ideal candidate will have proven successful teaching practices, together with recent successful experience at Key Stage 3 and in teaching PE and other relevant subjects within Health and Wellbeing AoLE to Key Stage 4.
Applicants will be committed to enhancing pupils’ experiences using a variety of teaching and learning styles and will be expected to make a contribution not only to the PE department, Health and Wellbeing AoLE but also to the school as a whole. Knowledge of Curriculum for Wales will be required as a necessity.
You will have an interest and expertise in the use of ICT as an aid to teaching and learning, and a commitment to enhancing pupil experiences beyond the classroom. This would then complement the skills and expertise of the existing team. You should have the drive and ambition to seek to develop yourself and the department and have the long-term goal of aiding in leading the PE department.
This post will provide an excellent opportunity for practitioners to develop their experience in a dynamic environment, committed to the professional development of all staff.
