Cefn Saeson School is a very successful learning community serving Cimla, Tonna and central Neath.
Applications are invited from both NQTs and experienced teachers for the above post from 1st September 2024 up to 31st August 2025 in the first instance.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive school in continuing to drive outstanding outcomes for all of our students. We are looking for a suitably qualified Science teacher to teach across the Key Stages including GCSE.
The successful candidate will be required to deliver and plan for high quality learning and teaching within the Science department across all ages and abilities. Applicants will be committed to enhancing pupils’ experiences using a variety of teaching and learning styles and will be expected to make a contribution not only to the Science department, Science and Technology AoLE but also to the school as a whole. Knowledge of the new curriculum will be required as a necessity.
You will have an interest and expertise in the use of ICT as an aid to teaching and learning, and a commitment to enhancing pupil experiences beyond the classroom. This would then complement the skills and expertise of the existing team. You should have the drive and ambition to seek to develop yourself and the department and have the long-term goal of aiding in leading the Science department.
This post will provide an excellent opportunity for practitioners to develop their experience in a dynamic environment, committed to the professional development of all staff.
