Temporary Welsh & Drama Teacher

Cefn Saeson School is a very successful learning community serving Cimla, Tonna and central Neath.
Applications are invited from both NQTs and experienced teachers for the above post from 1st September 2024 up to 31st August 2025 in the first instance.
We wish to appoint a highly effective teacher to join the successful Welsh and Drama departments. The ideal candidate will have proven successful teaching practices, together with recent successful experience at Key stage 3 and in teaching Welsh to Key stage 4.
Applicants will be committed to enhancing pupils’ experiences using a variety of teaching and learning styles and will be expected to make a contribution not only to the Welsh and Drama departments, Language, Literacy and Communications and Expressive Arts AoLE’s but also to the school as a whole. Knowledge of the new curriculum will be required as a necessity.
You will have an interest and expertise in the use of ICT as an aid to teaching and learning, and a commitment to enhancing pupil experiences beyond the classroom. This would then complement the skills and expertise of the existing teams. You should have the drive and ambition to seek to develop yourself and the departments and have the long-term goal of aiding in leading aspects of the school’s work.
This post will provide an excellent opportunity for practitioners to develop their experience in a dynamic environment, committed to the professional development of all staff.
