Penrice Academy is part of Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT), a family of Cornish Primary and Secondary Schools, with a strategic vision to ‘learn together to help every child achieve more’. This is an exciting time to join our large, dynamic Trust, which is responsible for educating learners across four secondary schools, one junior school and eight primary schools with a Free School (primary) to open in September 2021. We are offering a fantastic opportunity to work as an Executive Deputy Headteacher across two of the CELT Secondary Schools. This position is fitting of an experienced leader with the knowledge and expertise to perform the role of DSL across two schools to ensure meticulous safeguarding provision. The successful candidate will primarily be based at Penrice Academy, responsible for creating and maintaining an outstanding culture and ethos of excellence across the school. You will need to be a superb classroom practitioner with substantial leadership experience, previous responsibility for safeguarding and be able to work collaboratively within two innovative and progressive leadership teams.
