A unique opportunity is available for an outstanding classroom practitioner to combine high-quality teaching with strategic leadership as an Assistant Headteacher at Chestnut Park Primary School.

Your Opportunity 

In this pivotal role, you will help shape the school’s future through data-driven insight, innovation, and a relentless focus on improving outcomes for every child. Working closely with the Headteacher, you will help drive a culture of high expectations, continuous improvement, and inclusive excellence, ensuring every pupil is supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified teacher status
  • NPQH or willingness to undertake 
  • Experience of management at a senior level      
  • Successful teaching and curriculum experience   
  • Knowledge of primary principles and practice 
  • Ability to lead change
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to a range of audiences
  • Positive, enthusiastic outlook, embracing risk and innovation
