Duties (further details in the attached application pack):
- Support the vision and aims of Charlton Wood Primary Academy and the wider Trust.
- Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching that ensures strong progress for all pupils.
- Plan, monitor and evaluate effective programmes of work, including homework and assessments.
- Make reasonable adjustments for SEND pupils and work with SENCO, parents and external agencies to provide targeted support.
- Build positive relationships with parents, meeting regularly to review progress and set clear targets.
- Implement changes and initiatives as directed by the senior leadership team.
- Maintain a safe, organised and stimulating learning environment.
- Promote pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, emotional and cultural development while upholding high expectations for behaviour.
- Take responsibility for your own professional development, engaging with CPD, appraisal processes and evidence-informed practice.
- Contribute to the wider school community through curriculum enrichment, extra-curricular clubs, collective worship and safeguarding responsibilities.

Fluency Duty
