Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only + 1 TE Day

Salary: Grade 5, SCP 12-17
Actual Salary: £22,621 - £24,539 per annum
We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic and enthusiastic Attendance Officer, who has experience of working within a school setting. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting students and parents in promoting a positive culture around attendance and punctuality. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated team playing a key role in the continual development of monitoring and tracking student attendance.
You will be expected to:
• Provide advice, support and guidance to parents, students and staff
• To recognise the needs of the individual student
• Form strong relationships with parents, students and colleagues
• To recognise the needs of the individual student and to liaise with internal and external agencies to support the needs of students on the school roll in their attendance and education
• To be able to implement a systematic approach to gathering and analysing attendance related data
• To oversee the school's attendance procedures, ensuring that official registers are accurately maintained, and attendance trends are monitored and to reduce any levels of unauthorised absence which reflect the policies and values of The Chase.
You will be work with integrity and display sound judgement, respecting confidentiality at all times and must possess the confidence to work with young people, as well as parents.
This role will involve home visits.
