Purpose of the role of a Class Teacher (see the JD/PS for accountabilities): 

To carry out the professional duties of a teacher, in accordance with any directions reasonably given by the Headteacher.

We are looking for an outstanding Class Teacher who will: 

Have qualified teacher status and successful completion of induction year. 

Have good knowledge of the National Curriculum with a good understanding of Assessment for Learning practice. 

Have the ability to establish good relationships within the team, with other colleagues and with pupils  

Have a positive approach to school self-evaluation and an insistence on high standards 

Demonstrate a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community.
