We are seeking to appoint a committed, caring, flexible and resilient professional to complement the work of our administration team. This role will be based across our two provisions in Eyres Monsell (Willow Bank and Magpie Centre).
Working in partnership as a member of the administrative team, you will have responsibility for coordinating the student referral and review processes in the school. This includes liaising with other schools, Local Authorities, families, health professionals and working with senior colleagues within our school to ensure a smooth pathway into the school.
You will support colleagues in coordinating review meetings for students who attend our school. The school is in negotiations with the Local Authority to open a Designated Specialist Provision, which will see an increase in both referrals and reviews, specifically for students who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
The role requires strong organisational skills and an ability to use Microsoft applications, along with our Management Information System (SIMS). You will at times be required to provide front of house reception duties including dealing with visitors and telephone calls, along with supporting the Designated School Lead (DSL) with the receipt and transfer of safeguarding files.
You would be joining the school at a very exciting time and will be able to make a significant contribution to the future direction and development of this unique learning environment. You will have access to superb continuing professional development as part of the appraisal process.
This is a fantastic opportunity for any individual seeking a fresh challenge and new opportunity within a highly rewarding environment. If you are an enthusiastic, professional and proactive individual then we would love to hear from you.
The Children’s Hospital School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to satisfactory references, medical clearance and enhanced checks carried out by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
For more information, or to arrange a visit please contact Lynn White, Office Manager at the school.
The closing date for applications is 9am on Monday 2nd June with interviews scheduled for the following week.
