Welcome From The Headteacher

Christian Malford Church of England Primary School is a small rural school with about 85 children in the Wiltshire village of Christian Malford.

Our motto says, “Challenge, Motivate and Succeed” and everything we do is focused on providing the children with the challenge and motivation to succeed. Please read our Aims and Philosophy statement to find out more.

We have an open door policy for parents so that we constantly communicate with them to ensure that their children are happy and getting the most from the opportunities we offer.

From the start, our pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential.

Christian Malford CofE Primary School is part of the Church of England family of schools. We believe it is important to promote core Christian values by which to live and which to help to develop a moral and spiritual awareness.

Our Local Board and Diocese of Bristol Academies Trust are supportive and skilled and work closely with me to continue to grow our school. Our Friends of School provide vital help with fundraising and social events. Together we form a strong team for our pupils through these important first years of their education.

Our Values

At Christian Malford CofE Primary School, we believe it is important to promote core Christian values by which to live and which help to develop a moral and spiritual awareness. There are many Christian values, but the ones we have specifically chosen for our school are:

  • Diligence
  • Kindness
  • Tolerance
  • Honesty
  • Respect

These values are intrinsically linked to our school rules and British Values and it is these School values that we want our pupils to explore and develop during their time at Christian Malford. Whilst these values are inclusive of human values, we anchor them into the Christian faith by relating them to the Bible through stories and readings during our acts of worship. They are also woven into our teaching and learning in order to develop improved social and emotional skills that positively affect behaviour and self-esteem.

Working for The Blue Kite Academy Trust

We believe our schools should be vibrant, friendly places where the children are at the heart of everything we do.

We believe in teaching skills, sharing knowledge and building special memories that children will take with them through the rest of their lives.

We believe that through inspirational teaching, determination, a lot of love and a lot of laughter, the children in our schools can achieve their greatest potential, regardless of their starting points in life.

We believe in teaching, modelling values and preparing them for life in the 21st Century and we believe that in doing so we will give them a solid foundation for their future.
