SEN Support Team Coordinator
Salary: JG6 (£24,966 - £27,690). Actual salary £19,009 to £21,083
Contract: 32.5 hours per week. Term Time Only + INSET. Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
We are seeking to appoint a SEN Support Team Coordinator to assist in leading and managing the provision of special educational needs learning support.
The successful candidate will have a focus on enabling young people to make a positive difference and achieve the Academy’s vision: to set no limits on what we can achieve.
The successful candidate will:
• Have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Have experience of working with students with a range of SEND
• Have sound knowledge and understanding of: Every Child Matters; Child Protection procedures; and SEND code of practice
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Be able to work within a dynamic and challenging environment
• Be able to manage their time, resources and workload effectively with minimum supervision.
