Salary: £31,339 - £46,059 per annum
(Salary dependent on qualifications and experience)
Contract: Full Time/Permanent
Additional responsibility allowance for Head of Health role (RA D): £2,000

We have a fantastic opportunity to apply to become the lead of the exciting adult nursing T-level and mental health T-level courses here at the college.
This role is a challenging yet incredibly rewarding position. You will have the accountability and autonomy to ensure the academic success of the NHS’s future workforce, supporting their step into higher education, NHS apprenticeships, or straight into the healthcare sector.
We want a leader to ensure the course is being delivered to a high standard and that all students achieve academically and within their placement. You would be responsible for setting, driving, and maintaining high standards of delivery and student engagement on the course.
You will be a qualified teacher with experience and evidence of delivering outstanding lessons to learners; thus, leading by example.
You will lead a large team with extant experience in the healthcare sector, be it in fields related to nursing, paramedics, or mental health.

This role requires the candidate to be a qualified teacher with a background of outstanding delivery.
Organise and motivate the team
Work closely with apprenticeships subject staff, transition lead, Hof to plan and ensure the effective delivery of the programme
To engage students in experiences ‘beyond the specification’
Meet targets related to high grades, attendance and retention
Liaise with support staff for effective marketing and delivery of the course
