Lecturer in Business and Economics

Required From: Immediate Start Available

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary range: £23,960 - £40,400 (Starting salary dependent upon qualifications and experience)

We are seeking an adaptable and creative individual to join our ambitious Faculty of Business and Education and contribute to curriculum initiatives. Teaching will be predominantly across A Level Economics. The department of Business and Education is committed to encouraging students to reach their full potential and candidates will ideally have experience in teaching the vast breadth and depth of knowledge required across these areas. Candidates will be committed to the Cirencester College mission and vision and be able to demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines in a demanding environment.

Candidates should have a commitment to post compulsory education at FE and be motivated to achieve high standards in teaching and learning. The ability to work well within a team and to adapt to curriculum demands is essential. Ideally candidates should possess a good honours degree and a teaching qualification. The College is supportive of new entrants into the teaching profession and we are therefore willing to consider applications from graduates who are willing to undertake a supported teaching qualification as part of their professional development.
