Lecturer – Digital T Levels
Salary: £31,339 - £46,059

This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a modern, forward-thinking, professional from the Digital sector to join our thriving College and join the team at the forefront of the new T Level qualifications. Our introduction of T Levels has been very successful, and this unique opportunity is for the right candidate to work with us in developing our curriculum and students.
We are looking for a lecturer to join the STEM faculty to join our team of Digital lecturers. The T levels are very broad, and we would encourage energetic applicants who have experience in any of the following areas:
• Computational thinking and design principles
• Experience of at least 2 programming languages and associated standards
(Python and JavaScript preferred)
• Experience of Microsoft active directory
• Data principles and management
• Cabling installation, testing and tools
• Network principles and architecture
• Digital research and development
• Industry experience within the digital sector would be useful
This post would be suitable for someone looking to move into a career in teaching from prior work in the IT support industry or someone interested in teaching after completing a relevant STEM degree.
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop their passion for education within a supportive and quickly developing area, playing a pivotal role in the continued development and delivery of the core curriculum of innovative T levels and associated foundation courses.
The post holder will be expected to:
If required, attend our internal teacher training program to grow the skills required to deliver outstanding lessons
Teach to a high standard, and develop the relevant skills to teach truly outstanding provision
Work with the STEM Faculty and with enrichment staff to create provision that excites and stimulates demand
Candidates should have a commitment to providing high quality learning to enable all learners to achieve their full potential. The ability to truly work as a team player is also essential. The post-holder will be expected to demonstrate outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills.
