Monday to Friday - Term Time plus 2 inset days.
Grade 4/5 Scale Point: 7 to 15 (FTE £22,995 to £26,520).
Actual Salary £16,892. 14 to £19,481.61 (Term Time plus 2 Inset days)
Rushy Meadow Primary Academy are seeking to employ a Specialist Teaching Assistant for a to work with our hearing impaired pupils.
Rushy Meadow is a friendly 2-form entry school which is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. We have a Hearing Impaired Resource Base where children who have a significant hearing loss are supported in mainstream education by Specialist TAs and through Teacher of the Deaf support.
The suitable person will need at least level 2 BSL and to be able to use a mixture of BSL, SSE and spoken language to communicate with and support the learning of identified pupils. For more details about the role, please see the job description and person specification.
