We have an exciting opportunity for an animal care technician to join our college community.

About your role:

Our aim is to ensure all students receive an outstanding experience and are well supported to achieve their qualification to the highest of standards so the animal care technician role is crucial for ensuring that the Indoor and Outdoor Animal Centre areas are maintained to a very high standard of safety and the animals are well cared for to meet the Animal Welfare regulations.

This Maternity cover role will include working some weekends.

The role will involve:

Providing help, advise and assist students during their training and whilst carrying out practical activities or assist other lecturers in a classroom as part of a curriculum programme

Maintaining the resources within the Animal centre to ensure they are fit for purpose to meet the Curriculum need.

Monitoring stock control and ordering resources to meet the curriculum need.
