There’s never been a better time to join the fantastic team here at City of Bristol College, with recent investment in our already outstanding teaching facilities the College has a great deal on offer for both staff and students. We have an exciting new opportunity for an organised and conscientious Learner/Customer Services Advisor to work within the Student Services team on a permanent, part time basis (15 hours per week).

You will work as part of our Hub delivering customer services and advice and guidance to prospective and current students. Services are delivered, whether in person, by telephone or electronically, ensuring that learners are provided with appropriate information to access learning opportunities. You will efficiently deliver key Hub Services, to create an environment where high standards of customer service are cultivated and celebrated. You will also be responsible for promoting the Hub as a one stop shop for student support, referring onwards appropriately to specialist services and supporting the HE Admissions process.

You must have a good level of general education to A-level or above, and must have excellent administrative and customer service skills. You will be a confident user of IT and use this to efficiently deliver services and access information. Ideally you will also have a recognised qualification in Advice and Guidance or equivalent, however this isn’t essential. You should also have a good working knowledge of the Further and Higher Education sectors.
