Systems Developer

Salary: £31,015.66-£33,885.43 + £5,000 market supplement may be available.

Contract: Full time, permanent

Location: South Bristol Skills Academy, Hengrove

We have an exciting new opportunity for a proactive, organised Systems Developer to work within the MIS team. You will proactively develop and implement performance, quality and business systems and software in order to meet college quality, efficiency, and compliance objectives. Ensuring that processes are streamlined, administration is reduced and accurate data is captured once.

Planning and implementing improvements within existing systems including but not limited to all Advanced products to ensure sector best practice performance in systems and business analysis whilst providing data to enable the college to maximise performance and monitor the utilisation of resources.

The successful candidate will have gained previous experience in a similar role, within the FE and HE sector. Proficiency in PL/T/SQL and databases technologies, along with experience in developing and implementing BI reporting tools such as MS SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, Business Objectives are required. A strong understanding of programming languages and the ability to use large, complex and multifaceted data sets are essential.
