HR administrator
Claremont Fan Court School is seeking a proactive and highly organised HR administrator to join our friendly and professional HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality HR service across the whole school.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player with excellent administrative and organisational skills, have a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. You will be approachable and discreet, with a helpful can-do attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding support to staff and candidates alike.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the full recruitment cycle, including advertising, shortlisting, interview coordination and pre-employment checks
- Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with safer recruitment and inspection standards
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries
- Supporting the employee lifecycle including onboarding, induction, training, and staff leavers
- Administering and maintaining HR systems (iTrent and SIMS) and generating reports as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a professional administrative role (HR, recruitment or compliance experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft 365
- A high level of discretion and professionalism
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach to work
This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role is based on-site at our beautiful 100-acre site.
