We are looking for fun and passionate Playworkers to join and strengthen our well established after school club team, 3.00-6.00pm, term time only. Our commitment is to provide a safe, fun, happy and caring environment, for children aged 7-11 years.
If you have a passion for working with children to facilitate their development through play or are looking to enhance your experience, skills and training then we would love to meet you.
We’re looking for people who have the skills and positive approach to:
- Engage with children in all aspects of play and conversation
- Encourage fair and caring behaviour among children
- Give children the freedom to spend their leisure time in their own way
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are adhered to
We expect our playworkers to:
- Deliver the daily play plan which includes the activities/materials planned and needed
- Ensure site is safely set up
- Register pupils on arrival maintaining a knowledge of their whereabouts at all time
- Undertake training as appropriate NVQ 1-3 preferred but will consider applicants without these qualifications.
