We are looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants to join a friendly, professional and supportive team within our Early Years and Infant & Junior provision.
Both roles are 5 days per week, term-time only, with hours between 30 and 37.5 per week which will be agreed with the successful candidates after interview.
The pro-rated salary will be from £18,038.63pa (30 hours per week) to £22,548.28pa (37.5 hours per week).
As a Teaching Assistant, the role involves supporting pupils' learning and development, clarifying instructions, providing necessary materials, and addressing individual needs. The post-holder will assist across various subjects, promoting positive behaviour, and collaborating with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
A level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential, as is experience with the EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 curriculum (ideally two of these three areas), and able to facilitate the transition from early years' play-based learning to the structured education of Key Stage 1, or the transition from KS1 to KS2.
