The Governing Body of Coedffranc Primary School wish to offer an exciting opportunity for the suitably qualified, responsible, caring, reliable person for the post of Teacher within our Assessment Centre for pupils with Behaviour, Emotional and Social difficulties. As a school, we want to achieve excellence in all areas of our provision for all our pupils. We aim to be a school where all pupils strive to flourish personally, emotionally and academically. We want all of our teaching team to be highly trained, highly motivated and passionate about all pupils’ progress.
The Governors will be seeking the following skills/personal qualities in the right person to be a class teacher within our Phoenix Centre (BESD Assessment Centre):
- A commitment to supporting the aims and values of our school and to ensure the pupils make the most academically and socially of every day here with us;
- A proven track record of working successfully with pupils with BESD in a school environment;
- An enthusiastic, self-motivated person with the ability to work effectively with a team of exceptional, dedicated professionals within the Assessment Centre;
- Support and maintain excellent standards of behaviour and develop pupils’ ability to recognise and express their emotions through positive actions;
- A commitment to getting the best out of every child in our Phoenix Centre, in their base school and at home;
- Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude to all areas of school life;
- A commitment to working positively with our pupils’ base schools and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for our pupils.
