Are you passionate about athletic development and rugby performance? Coleg Gwent is seeking a dynamic Strength & Conditioning Coach to support our Rugby Academy within the Public Services/Sport Department.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver tailored strength & conditioning programmes for academy players.

• Support player development across gym, field, and off-site environments.

• Collaborate with coaches, schools, and professional partners (WRU, Dragons RFC).

• Contribute to injury rehabilitation, performance analysis, and athlete education.

• Play a key role in recruitment and match day preparation.

What we’re looking for:

• A relevant degree (e.g. BSc in Strength & Conditioning or equivalent).

• NSCA/UKSCA accreditation (or willingness to obtain).

• Experience in rugby-specific S&C and athlete rehab.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Flexibility to travel and work evenings/weekends.

The ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
