Friendly Breakfast and After School club seek an enthusiastic playworker .

Coombe Connections Club is a Breakfast and After School Club based at Coombe Hill Infants’ and Junior Schools in Kingston. We have a caring, enthusiastic team looking after children from 4-11 years in a safe, inclusive and fun environment. We are looking for someone who loves interacting positively with children and who is a caring, creative and highly motivated.  We need a Playworker to help prepare a fun and safe environment for play sessions, setting up a range of appropriate and stimulating resources and helping children develop their social skills and make friends. Interaction with children is key to this position and a desire to create a fun, stimulating environment.   Safeguarding is the forefront of everything we do and staff will be given training in all aspects of safeguarding and child protection.  We have extensive grounds where the children can play football, basketball, use the outdoor play equipment and sometimes use the outdoor pool in the summer.  This will be an exciting and rewarding position which could develop over time.

The Breakfast Club working hours are 7.30 am - 9.00 am and After School Club working hours 2.30 pm -5.30 pm. The position is for After school club five days per week and Breakfast Club five days per week, Term time only.
