Role: Apprentice Playworker

Hours: Monday to Friday 2:15pm - 6:15pm

(20 hours per week in school and 5 hours paid study time)

Start date: September 2025

Payscale: £8.50 per hour

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of launching something new and meaningful at Robin Hood Primary and Nursery School. We’re setting up a brand-new after school club and are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to help us create a fun, safe and inspiring space for our pupils. You’ll earn while you learn and gain hands-on experience in a supportive school environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

● Helping to establish and run a new after school club from day one

● Supporting children aged 3–11 through play, activities and structured sessions

● Assisting with setting up creative games and outdoor learning experiences

● Building positive relationships with children and colleagues

● Working closely with experienced staff while studying towards your Level 2 qualification

What We’re Looking For:

● Aged 19–25 and looking for your first step into education, childcare or youth work

● Friendly, reliable and enthusiastic about working with children

● Eager to learn and committed to completing the 18-month apprenticeship

● No prior experience needed – just a great attitude and willingness to get stuck in

What You’ll Get:

● A nationally recognised Level 2 Playworker qualification
