Position Available: Specialist Provision Learning Assistant

About the Role:
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are looking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Provision Learning Assistant to join our team from September 2025.
As a member of our SRP team, you will work closely with teaching staff, therapists and families to support pupils’ learning, development and emotional wellbeing. In this role, you will support pupils’ access to learning both within our Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) and in mainstream classes, helping them to develop key skills in communication, social interaction and emotional regulation. You will encourage independence, confidence and self-care, while promoting speech, language and play skills.
This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to work within our Specialist Resource Provision (SRP), which currently supports up to 12 pupils with Autism and mild to moderate learning needs. You will play a vital role in helping our pupils grow in confidence, independence and wellbeing, while also supporting their integration into mainstream learning where appropriate.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is nurturing, patient, and committed to inclusive education.
- Has experience of working with children with Autism and/or additional needs (desirable but not essential).
- Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff and families.
- Is ready to learn, adaptable and proactive in supporting pupils' needs.
- Can work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive, caring environment.
