Countess Wear School is very much a community school on the outskirts of Topsham in Exeter, Countess Wear offers 210 places including a nursery to accommodate children between the ages of 2 and 11. With a spacious building and vast grounds the school offers dedicated art, cooking, music, library and science rooms. The school also has a purpose built Forest School with impressive outdoor provision.

The School joined Cornerstone Academy Trust in September 2024. The Trust has developed a local, national and international reputation for its innovative use of IT and digital media and is transforming the classroom experience through the incorporation of Microsoft technology, enhancing student-centred learning to achieve better outcomes for all pupils.
