About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and highly motivated professional to join our team as Curriculum Lead for Child, Health and Social Care.
Reporting to the Curriculum Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our learners receive an outstanding quality of education and are fully supported to achieve and exceed their potential. You will be responsible for driving high expectations, promoting positive learner outcomes, and leading the continuous development of teaching, learning, assessment, and curriculum quality across the provision.
As Curriculum Lead, you will provide effective leadership and support to teaching staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will utilise learner performance data to monitor progress, identify areas for development, and implement strategies that enhance achievement, retention, attendance, punctuality, and progression.
The successful candidate will be passionate about ensuring learners have an exceptional experience and will work closely with employers, external stakeholders, awarding organisations, and support services to ensure the curriculum remains relevant, inclusive, and responsive to industry needs. The role is 720 teaching hours per academic year.
Requirements
Must-Have:
• Relevant industry experience you need in the child care, or health and social care sector
• Relevant teaching qualification or willing to obtain in a specified timescale
• Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in in relevant subject area
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• Minimum of Level 2 qualification in Communication/Literacy and Numeracy/Maths
