Job Title: Human Resources Administrator

Location: Coventry College, 50 Swanswell Street, Coventry, CV1 5DG

Contract Type: This is a full-time, 6-month contract position with the potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs

Hours per Week: 37 per week

Salary: £26,178 to £27,631 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and professional individual to join our team in a key business support role. You will play an important part in helping the College run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall learner and staff experience.

Whether supporting students, staff, systems, or services, you’ll bring a positive approach and a strong focus on customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking college where your skills and contribution are truly valued.

As a HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting both HR and Payroll functions, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across the employee lifecycle. You’ll provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, maintain accurate staff records, assist with recruitment and onboarding, and help coordinate payroll changes and absence management. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to HR and payroll administration.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Level 3 CIPD qualification or above

• Level 2 in English & Maths

• Experience providing generalist HR administrative support

• Experience of using CINTRA or comparable HR & Payroll systems

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience within an Education HR Function

• Experience of supporting the delivery of training sessions

• Knowledge of employment law
