About the role
We require a passionate and visionary leader with a deep commitment to inclusive education with the capability and capacity to lead ALN across the 3-19 age-range of Cowbridge School. You will have the strategic insight and drive to shape and lead outstanding inclusive provision across a vibrant and diverse school and a willingness to undertake professional learning for continuous improvement at senior level in a large and evolving 3-19 school.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will:
• Be committed to equity, inclusion, and high expectations for all learners especially those with barriers to learning;
• Lead the strategic development of ALN provision across the school;
• Promote inclusive practice and ensure compliance with the ALN and ET (Wales) Act;
• Contribute to whole-school leadership and improvement planning;
• Engage, inspire, and build strong relationships with all stakeholders;
• Be a committed team player, supporting colleagues and contributing to an already established collaborative culture;
• Be a creative thinker, with a positive and enthusiastic approach to work and be solution-focused;
• Demonstrate a commitment to raising standards of achievement and improving whole school priorities
