We are recruiting for a HLTA

Required for an Immediate Start

Salary Range £27,711.00 to £30,060.00 per annum (FTE) Emmaus Grade 6 (Point 12-17)

Term time only plus 5 days (INSET days), 32.50 hours per week Monday to Friday (with 30 minutes lunch)

Our Lady & St Hubert’s Catholic Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA or a passionate teaching assistant ready to step up, to make a real difference in children’s education and development. You will work closely with class teachers, support staff, and the school’s leadership team to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality learning across the primary curriculum. This role will include covering classes during teacher PPA time, SLT management time and supporting targeted interventions.

We are looking for a candidate who has

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification.

• Previous experience working in a primary school setting, particularly within EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.

• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective behaviour management strategies.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills and

• A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach.
