We are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Teaching Assistant to take a key role within the school, with responsibility for behaviour support and acting as a SEN specialist, working closely with the Headteacher, SENDCo and wider staff team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner who combines excellent classroom practice with the confidence to lead, support and mentor others.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent), or can demonstrate the ability to meet STL Level 3 National Occupational Standards.
- Has substantial experience of supporting children’s learning, behaviour and wellbeing in a primary school or similar setting.
- Has experience of, or readiness for, first-level line management, mentoring or coaching of other support staff.
- Has strong knowledge of SEND, behaviour support, safeguarding and child protection.
- Is confident in managing pupil behaviour calmly and consistently, in line with school policy.
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and works effectively as part of a team.
- Is committed to professional development and reflective practice.
- Shares and actively promotes the values and ethos of a Church of England school.
