The School now seeks to appoint an exceptional individual to work in the classroom and cover colleagues for in-service training, meetings and absence, alongside 3 other colleagues in the department. This role will suit professionals with experience of leading groups of children in an educational setting. This role has been aligned to the Single Status JD for Sports/Activity Coach/Instructor L2).

As Principal, it has always been my philosophy to grow and nurture new talent so that we create the next generation of leaders, it is something that I have done throughout my career, and this role will support the successful individual on their journey.
The successful candidate is to supervise prepared lessons in the absence of a class teacher, ensuring that in doing so the pupils’/students’ learning and development is continued and maintained. The post holder will need to work as a team of Cover Supervisors.
Candidates should pay attention to the person specification and explain within their application how they meet the criteria, whilst also describing what they will bring to the post from their own knowledge, experience and understanding of supporting children in a college setting.
