Croydon College is seeking to appoint an experienced ASD (Autism) Tutor to join its ALS team.

This post will plan for and deliver support to students across both the Croydon and Coulsdon campuses onsite, helping students to overcome barriers and realise their potential by providing evidence based 1:1 and group intervention sessions as well as completing assessments and associated reports that contribute to exam access arrangements and EHCP reviews.

The successful applicant will work in conjunction with the Head of ALS to ensure appropriate support is implemented across the curriculum so students are able to reach their potential.

As the named contact for students with ASD (Autism), the successful applicant will liaise closely with parents/carers, college staff, partners and external professionals to provide advice and guidance, develop support plans, agree teaching & learning adjustments and complete risk assessments as required.

You would be joining a motivated and experienced student focused team who are collaborative and proactive in their approach to supporting students to overcome barriers and achieve their potential.

Applicants must hold a relevant professional qualification and have recent relevant experience of teaching young people with ASD in an FE environment.
