Croydon College is committed to providing an outstanding Careers & Employability programme for every student.
Having recently brought together our existing Careers and Work Placement teams to form a new Careers & Employability team within Student Services, we are seeking an exceptional manager to lead and drive our activity in this area, working under the direction of the Head of Student Services to implement the College’s Careers & Employability Strategy.
As Careers & Employability Manager you will use your skills in engaging and influencing stakeholders, your experience of working in the education or training sector, and your knowledge of post-16 careers guidance and work experience frameworks to build on our achievements and create further opportunities for students to meaningfully engage with employers, and embed an aspirational programme of careers activities.
Proven leadership and management skills are essential, and you will use these to lead by example, empower your staff to take ownership and pride in the service they deliver, and motivate the team to achieve and exceed individual and team KPIs.
Leading Careers & Employability across both the Croydon and Coulsdon campuses, you will be joining a motivated and experienced Student Services team who are collaborative and proactive in their approach to raising aspirations and supporting students to recognise and achieve their potential.
In return Croydon College offers generous leave, the opportunity to join the Local Government Pension Scheme and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity.
