Croydon College is seeking to appoint an experienced Learning Support Practitioner to join its ALS team. 


This newly created post will facilitate and deliver support to students across both the Croydon and Coulsdon campuses, helping students to overcome barriers and realise their potential by providing in and out of class support to maximise student independence and meet EHCP outcomes. 


As the named contact for assigned students, the successful applicant with liaise closely with parents/carers and college staff, ensuring implementation of robust risk assessments and PEEPs, deal with transport issues and provide support to students in unstructured times. 


The successful applicant will utilise a range of support strategies including assistive technology and modification of resources.  


You would be joining a motivated and experienced student focused team who are collaborative and proactive in their approach to supporting students to overcome barriers and achieve their potential. 


Applicants should hold Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths or be willing to achieve this within 12 months. You should also have recent relevant experience of supporting young people with a variety of SEND.
