Hours: Full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Croydon College is committed to providing an outstanding Careers & Employability programme for every student.


Under the direction of the Careers & Employability Manager, as Senior Work Placement Officer within our newly formed Careers & Employability team, you will provide line management to our team of Work Placement Officers across both the Croydon and Coulsdon campuses, and undertake a lead role in the provision of high-quality work experiences, substantial work placements and work-related activities for learners.


With your experience in employer engagement, understanding of the socio-economic need to bring employers and learners together, and experience of motivating and leading others in a KPI driven environment, you will drive forward placement activity that meets the aims of our Careers & Employability strategy, and achieves targets to create opportunities for all learners to meaningfully engage with employers.


You would be joining a motivated and experienced student focused team who are collaborative and proactive in their approach to raising aspirations and supporting students to identify and achieve their career goals.
