Croydon College promotes a positive, student focused and supportive culture, and you will play a key role in helping us achieve this.

As Student Experience Officer based at our Croydon Campus, you will be a visible presence in the Student Common Room, and lead on organising a range of regular events and activities which enhance the student experience.

Throughout the year, working in collaboration with the wider Student Experience and Wellbeing teams, you will organise awareness events and activities that embed positive wellbeing, promotion of equality and celebration of diversity into the student experience.

You will use your experience of working with young people to support and drive the work of the Student Union, and increase enrichment engagement and participation rates. You will use your interpersonal and communication skills to develop effective partnerships with external organisations, ensuring the enrichment offer is rich, varied, and meeting the needs of our diverse college community.

The successful applicant will bring energy, a positive ‘can do’ attitude, and a genuine commitment to contributing to an outstanding student experience for students at Croydon College.

In return Croydon College offers generous leave, the opportunity to join the Local Government Pension Scheme and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity.
