As Head of Computer Science at Croydon High School, you will drive the next phase of our ambitious vision for Computer Science to empower our pupils to become creators of technology who are real-world ready and prepared for the future.
You will have overall responsibility for the professional leadership and management of the department, delivering high standards of teaching and learning and contributing to the management and development of the curriculum.
Championing innovation, you will ensure creativity and challenge sit at the heart of every lesson, inspiring our pupils to think like computer scientists, design solutions, experiment boldly, and understand, critically and confidently, the systems that underpin modern life.
Beyond the curriculum, Computer Science is a lively and collaborative community within the school, and you will play an active role in sustaining the department’s strong culture of enrichment.
