Here at The Castle School Education Trust (CSET) we are embarking on a transformation journey to make each of our seven schools even greater. We are a progressive and agile workforce looking for a motivated and efficient IT Service Desk Engineer to join our committed team.
About the role
Our IT Service Engineer will be responsible for taking calls at the front line, and helping our people when they have an issue or need to request something. They’ll be finding resolutions from the knowledge base to use, learning from the rest of the team to develop solutions and play an active role in the transformation programme. The new member of the team will need to be customer focused, willing to learn and progress, and have a keen interest in IT in general. We’ll help train them, bring their career on to the next level, and hopefully see them progress through in their chosen career.
About you
You will have the ability to promote and safeguard the safety and welfare of students in accordance with CSET wide and school policies. You’ll be personable and confident in building relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You’ll be confident in learning how to troubleshoot IT and equipment issues you may not have seen before by analysing the information and using the tools available to you and be comfortable with escalating incidents or queries.
