Salary: CSET 10 £24,294 FTE, £18,354 prorated
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year
Contract Type: Fixed term up to 12 months

Marlwood School has an opening for a Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. Having recently been awarded a ‘Good’ from Ofsted, this is an exciting time to join a rapidly improving school.
About the role
The successful candidate will work closely with the SENDCo and teaching staff to assist in the educational, personal and social development of designated students. You will support students by working with them in class and in small groups helping to engage with their learning and reach their full potential. The role will involve working alongside a dedicated team of teaching assistants.
About you
We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic, conscientious and caring individual to join our team of Teaching assistants. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being able to use initiative and work independently are essential skills. You will need to adjust your techniques and activities according to students' responses, so proven ability to think on your feet is vital.
