We require enthusiastic, compassionate and dedicated members of staff to work as Learning Support Assistant (SEND) at Cuddington community Primary school on a permanent basis. This Learning support assistant role is to support children either in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to access learning across the afternoons. in our mainstream classes. It will also include Midday Supervision of the children at lunchtime under the guidance of the Lead Midday Supervisor.

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, 12.00pm - 3.00pm (three hours per day).

Candidates should possess a good level of numeracy and literacy as well as good interpersonal and listening skills and demonstrate a commitment to helping children achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning, emotional and social needs of the child. The successful candidate will be subject to a robust induction programme to support their transition into the role and training will be provided to support them when working with children with additional needs. Candidates can expect to receive safeguarding training, training in phonics, and specific training related to the needs of the child the will be working with.
