Learning Mentor
31.25 hours per week, 8.35am - 3.20pm Monday to Friday, term time only
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Mentor who is committed to ensuring the very best for our children and shares our vision of happy, successful and confident learners.

The successful candidate would be fully supportive of our ethos and approach.
The successful candidate will:
- GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
- Care passionately for all our children, no matter what their barriers are, or the challenges they bring into school
- Build professional relationships with children, staff, parents and outside agencies
- Have some knowledge and experience of safeguarding, behaviour support and pastoral support
- Lead groups and work with and support children for whom English is not their first language
- Liaise with teachers to support pupils and raise achievement
- The ability to speak or write in Romanian or other eastern European languages would be a distinct advantage.

This position is 31.25 hours per week, term time only.
Working hours are 8.35am – 3.20pm, with 30 minutes for lunch. In addition to these hours, you may be asked to provide cover over lunch breaks, and this would need a level of flexibility.
