The Deanery CE Academy is a growing school, in the heart of the community of Wichelstowe with the most amazing facilities, inspirational staff and incredible students. We believe that we have a duty to enable all our students to flourish when they are at school, to enable them to live life in all its fullness- this is the foundation of our ethos and will form a significant part of our dialogue in all aspects of school life.
We are now in our fifth year, with our first cohort of students preparing to sit examinations in the Summer of 2024. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Art and Design teacher to work across subjects in our Creative Arts faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to join our enthusiastic, committed and professional team, promoting the Creative Arts across teaching and learning and the wider school.
This role is suitable for an experienced teacher who is keen to start their career within our Trust and has a real passion for learning and developing a love of learning of their subject to KS3 and KS4 students.
The ideal candidate will be eager to develop their professional capabilities and work alongside established staff to provide high pitch and challenge in lessons. You will be part of an exciting group of pioneering educators in developing our academy, so you must be willing to work as part of a strong team.
School visits are encouraged and welcomed. Please contact the Campus Coordinator (Michelle Bishop) at The Deanery to find out more about the role and to arrange a visit to the Academy.
