The Deanery CE Academy is a growing school, in the heart of the community of Wichelstowe with the most amazing facilities, inspirational staff and incredible students. We believe that we have a duty to enable all our students to flourish when they are at school, to enable them to live life in all its fullness- this is the foundation of our ethos and will form a significant part of our dialogue in all aspects of school life.

We have now entered our fifth year, we are looking to appoint a permanent Careers Lead to join our team to help prepare our students for the choices available to them in further education, training and apprenticeships and employment and take responsibility and accountability for the delivery our the Academy's programme of careers and guidance to our students.

The successful candidate will be required:

To prepare and implement a careers guidance plan;

Review and evaluate careers guidance and provide information for school improvement planning, Ofsted and other purposes;

Report on guidance advise to senior leaders and governors;

Understand the impacts of changing education landscapes for careers guidance;

Ensure compliance with the school's legal requirements to provide independent careers guidance and publish the relevant information on the school's website

Build relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure the best possible support for our students
